Timon - the bewitched steering wheel - is a simple dice game in which players try to capture a counter from each opponent to win the game. This is done by moving your opponents' pieces across the spokes of a nautical wheel to a capture spot on your "own" spoke. Movement is determined by rolling 2 dice, one to determine which color can be moved, the other for range. Rolling your own color or the neutral white allows you can move any piece of your opponents. The rules include a variation that permits blocking by stacking pieces on top of each other, hiding the pieces underneath.
A pleasant and simple dice game entry in the Edition Perlhuhn range, played on an interesting and atmospheric board with luck being a major factor.
1 year later described in Reinhold Wittig's SPIELECOLLECTION No. 1 Spiele zur Schatzinsel (1988)
as "Das verflixte Steuerrad".
